Hi, I'm Pia!

Throughout studying to become a journalist I discovered my love for the visual and creative side of storytelling. I always loved documenting and the idea of capturing life and history in the making through video fascinates me.
Ever since I first picked up a camera and started filming and editing, I knew this is what I wanted to do.
Some of my earliest work as part of my journey included work with Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) in Sydney where I was immersed into the TV world of storytelling. Other work includes being a field producer on documentary series and production manager - but I very soon discovered there was a high demand in people around me that wanted their own videos and events filmed. So I set up my videography business and started exploring from there.
I have put my whole heart and soul into this business and I love it so much. Mostly because of the people I get to meet and work with, but also because I feel honoured to help tell stories, cement memories and film history. As a one-woman-business you need to know and do most of the work yourself - no day is the same and depending on the project, I may be filming out bush, filming people , animals or landscape - or I may be at the home office desk: editing or coordinating productions.
I call Broome home. I first travelled through this beautiful part of the world when I was 21 years old and my amazing husband and I spend our days outdoors crabbing and fishing. I LOVE soda water and I really don't like cats. That is a little about me! :)
Drop me a line if you would like to know anything else.
